Granite Frame

This project's objective is to design and build a metal frame for a granite parallel with a size of 12" x 12" x 144" with sufficient protection for shipping and storage. This is my current project at Haas Automation, Inc. Force calculations were done to ensure that the frame could withstand the weight of the granite parallel which is 2700lbs. Cost calculations are done to ensure that sourcing of the materials for this project would be cost efficient.

SAP Automation

This project's objective is to develop an automation tool in Microsoft Excel (VBA) to communicate with SAP (System Applications and Products in Data Processing) to perform certain transactions or to collect information with a click of a button. These automation tools that I've developed resulted into 50% to 85% time reduction and an increased efficiency of up to 600%. These results are calculated by comparing the time to perform these tasks manually versus using the VBA script.

Work Instructions

This project's objective is to create a Work Instruction for the Manual Mitutoyo CMM. These work instructions will guide the user on how to set up the machine to successfully inspect a part and to produce results. The purpose of this documentation is for any user to be able to perform inspection on a part without prior experience with using a manual CMM.

Differential Mount - Formula SAE

This project's objective is to design, analyze, and manufacture a mount/cage for the differential on a Formula SAE vehicle. The design is created using SolidWorks CAD while the FEA analysis were done using SolidWorks Simulation. Manual calculations were performed to determine the forces acting on the mount, which were subsequently input into the FEA simulation software. Toolpaths were programmed using ESPRIT CAM software, and machining was carried out on a Haas VF-4 CNC machine.

Management Tools - Formula SAE

These are some management tools I have learned and utilized as the Drivetrain/Manufacturing Team Lead for the Formula SAE team. A work order sheet was used to submit manufacturing requests, Google Sheets was employed to track inventory, and an itinerary chart/table was maintained to monitor the drivetrain team's components and their status and revision.
